Honamlı Goat, which is
one of the important local strain, is published in Official Newspaper on 17
September 2015 with title of “Notification About Patent
of Local Animal Strain –Annex 59“ . It was in the scope of Improvement
Public Project with contribution of Burdur
Provincial Directorate of Food Agriculture and
Livestock and MAKU cooperation.
According to Official
Newspaper, Honamlı Goat is defined as; combined efficient, massive, healty,
tame. Birth rate is 91,4. Thanks to lecturers from MAKU who made a significant
contribution to the patent.
